Ehnoo is a social enterprise, it’s a more than profit organisation.
The soul goal of ehnoo! is to improve the understanding of what mental health is and help facilitate access to the support that individuals need that not only alleviates their suffering but also improve their relationships, with themselves and those around them.
Hello, I’m Paul and I’m the founder of ehnoo! Having graduated from ‘nowhere’ I had the privilege of working with business leaders as an adviser for over 20 years. I spent much of that time investigating, researching and assessing opportunities in International markets. In the latter part of my ‘career’ I also worked closely with ‘captains of industry’ and leading universities to develop an open innovation toolkit for businesses.
The biggest takeaway being the words of Albert Einsteins who said “If I had 60 minutes to save the world I’d spend 55 minutes working out the problem.” Little did I know that these words would be so profound as I stared into the abyss of mental health.
My experience of less than helpful mental health including, stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, obsessions, and compulsions forced me to research the market for mental health, what I call the market for madness. Mental health is always mentioned in very negative ways but every single person has mental health, it can be good or it can be less than good..
Mental health is often cloaked in magic and fantasy with many differing views and approaches claiming to be the solution. Many of these ‘solutions’ respond to the alleviation of symptoms without recognition of underlying causes and this stimulates the market in perpetuity. This doesn’t help those that suffer.
There are a whole host of explanations and solutions promoted to address the problem of mental health. We currently look to causes such as social justice or problems of cognition/thinking to explain poor mental health ranging. And whilst each can have an impact, they are not the cause. Sadly, all too often, they are a distraction from the ‘real’ problem.
I’d like to share my findings on the ‘market for madness’ with you. The benefits are immeasurable, for you, for your teams and for your bottom line.
The Market for madness
“Experience is for me the highest authority...neither the revelations of God nor man -can take precedence over (my own direct) experience”
We can talk about mental health all day long but what is it that we are actually talking about, what is mental health. What is the problem? Where does it come from? And what collectively can we do about it.
We are currently working on our re-launch, having learned some harsh lessons. If you can’t wait to find out what we are up-to, please get in touch ehnoo! to find out how we could help you and your business benefit from a new evolution in mental health and well being.
